I bought a refurbished laptop, when does my coverage start?
For refurbished products that come with a 30-90 day warranty, your contract starts the date you purchased your laptop, with coverage starting after the 30-90 day warranty has finished.
I have a one year manufacturer's warranty on my laptop, when does my coverage start?
Your contract and coverage starts after the first year of your manufacturer's warranty is over. As soon as that first year is over, we've got you covered.
What don't the standard and accidental warranties cover?
These warranties don't cover any intentional damage, full submersion of your laptop underwater, or lost or stolen laptops.
What does the laptop accidental warranty cover?
The accidental warranty covers any drops under 6 feet and liquid spills on the laptop. This coverage is on top of the standard warranty's coverage, meaning all hardware malfunction is completely covered as well.
Does the standard warranty include motherboards? RAM? Keyboards?
Yes, yes, and yes! Most hardware located within a laptop is covered, including motherboards, video cards, Bios, RAM, CD/DVD drives, touch pads, keyboards, and more!
What does the CPS standard laptop extended warranty cover?
This standard extended warranty includes 100% parts and labor coverage. This warranty covers any and all hardware failure, so long as it was not caused by accidental damage.
What happens if my TV can't be repaired?
If we cannot repair your TV, we will provide you with a check for the current market value of your TV.
How do I file a claim for my TV?
You can file a claim by signing into your account on cpscentral.com and clicking file claim, or alternatively by giving us a call at 1 (800) 905-0443.
If I sell my TV can I transfer the warranty to the new owner?
Yes, you can. Contact CPS by giving us a call at 1 (800) 905-0443, and our customer experience team will be able to help you transfer your warranty to a new owner. A small $25.00 transfer fee applies.
Will my coverage continue after my TV is repaired?
Yes. Your coverage will typically continue until your contract expires. Your coverage will end, however, if your TV is replaced or the total cost of the repairs meets the maximum liability (the original price you paid for your TV).
