CPS Attends ICBA for the Tenth Consecutive Year
When a company has been successfully exhibiting at a trade show for a decade, it is cause for celebration! This will be Consumer Priority Service’s 10th consecutive year exhibiting at Independent College Bookstore Association Conference (ICBA,) which is taking place from February 3rd to the 6th in Tuscan, Arizona.
ICBA provides education, networking, and exhibitor programs to help foster the success of independent college bookstores. The show connects exhibitors to these college stores, representing $1.8 billion in total retail sales.
Students often visit technology-based college bookstores to purchase new laptops. CPS covers up to 4 years for accidental protection for non-intentional drops, spills, and cracks. The warranty also covers internal hardware failure, and a one-time replacement for the charger and battery.
CPS’s anniversary is especially noteworthy this year. That is because Mark Faour, CPS’s Sales and Operations Manager and ICBA attendee for the past six years, will be joined by CPS’s new Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, Mike Ryan.
Mike Ryan is a 23-year veteran of the service contract industry. He has developed technology solution programs for the nation’s largest brands including Amazon, Best Buy, Office Depot, Target, Staples, and Walmart. Mike also has life-long experience with education, as he serves as the chair for a New Jersey school board on their Finance and Facilities Committee and for the Curriculum and Technology Committee.
Expressing his enthusiasm, Mike said he is looking forward to sharing his experience to further secure a set of seamless technology and content recovery solutions for students and retailers alike. He said, “ICBA is a great opportunity to meet with those who provide the nation’s college students with the appropriate coverage for their laptops. This protection translates into the smooth access to the technology and data students need to succeed. Since we are true innovators in the service contract business, I anticipate many discussions focusing on problem-solving and CPS solutions.”
Mark proudly stated, “CPS is a top-rated service. We have earned that reputation due to our quick repair turnaround; the quality of our authorized repairs, plus additional benefits. We are excited to connect with existing stores and to present our innovative solutions to new business prospects. This week at ICBA, we will be introducing our new smart ordering portal, which will streamline the ordering process.”
According to CPS’s CEO Larry Heffez, the goal for 2020 is to greatly expand business and share CPS’s developed programs with every major university. With the combined enthusiasm and experience of Mark Faour and Mike Ryan, the team at CPS is confident these aspirations will be realized.
